Okay, '93 TransAm in the shop. I had an opti, so the mechanic put it on and discovered the vent tube. Car is running, but he's worried about what to do with the vent tube.

Should I just have him plug it, or does it need to vent to somewhere specific?

 

Have him to add the fresh-air intake line and the vacuum line (two ports on the Opti). Then you have a vented Opti like the 95s up.
