valve covers

are the center bolt valve covers all the same? there is a chrome set at autozone im thinkin of throwin on since i have to take off the intake to fix the leak. while the intake is off im gonna paint it and polish the fuel rails since i have a polished radiator shroud now to give the engine bay some "bling" before the turbo goes on.

Re: valve covers

I've seen the ones your talking about, and I dont see why they wouldn't fit. You would have to plug a hole or two because I think there made to fit like alot of different models.

Re: valve covers

They are exactly $50. I was going to buy those, but I was afraid they were cheap comming from auto zone. Let me know how they turn out.

Re: valve covers

I think you'd have to clearance the pasenger side valve cover for the alternator. Other then that I'm sure it'd work fine.

Exactly. I thought I had read that and a search of the board confirmed it. My search also turned up this thread with a link to a company that sells chrome ones to fit without modification, but they're $100.
