Vacuum for cc306?
How much vacuum should I pull with a cc306? I am only seeing about 10 or 11 at 875RPM idle (97 TA, M6 in neutral). I have finished a 383 project and car is running like crap. Very rich, poor idle, worse in closed loop. Drive it and it stumbles all over the place and almost dies when I push the clutch in, and does die when coming to a stop. I have gone through everything I can think of. I have checked for burnt wires. Has new AC delco platinum plugs, new opti, and coil. Switched about everything with my 95Z (runs good) to check (such as MAF,MAP,IAC,TPS etc) and no luck. I am wondering if I have an internal vacuum leak. Car will puff a little blue smoke on decel after 3500RPM or more while driving. It only has about 50 miles on it since the build. I have already had the intake off twice and notice a little residue in the intake runners. Also, after running, if I pull the TB off right away, it's full of vapor that reeks of fuel. Checked fuel pressure, got a good 42psi at idle, down to 35 when I hit the gas while driving. Turned car off with gauge hooked up and pressure dropped very slowly (from 42 down to 38 after 20 mins) so I don't believe 36lb svo's are "leaky". It could probably use a little fine tuning on the program (PCM for less conversion to OBD1) but it seems like something is much worse than just that. Damn, I don't know what to do next! ANy ideas....HELP!!!
