Using a bullet as an ORP
Using a bullet as an ORP
Has anyone here used a bullet muffler in their ORP? What size and design?
I had a straight pipe, but it was too loud. Now, I have a cat in there. It sounds really good, but I don't think the cat is going to live very long. I am already getting a rotten egg smell after the car is warm. I am thinking the best thing to do is to put a flange after the Y-pipe and just bolt in the bullet in place of the cat.

I had a 3" custom Y-pipe, with dual 3" CarSound cats for the street. For the track (leaded racing fuel) I dropped out the cats, and substituted 12" x 3" Borla XR-1 shorty mufflers. The front of the cat and the Borla had a 3-bolt flange, to connect to the header collectors, and the backs had plain 3" outlets for a slip fit and a band clamp to the Y-pipe.

And in Sig.
No clips of the stright ORP because it sounded like A$$ and i didn't feel like putting it back in for 10 minutes to turn around and take it out.
