Use of NPT Fittings instead of metal lines for head coolant?

Use of NPT Fittings instead of metal lines for head coolant?
Can I use steel braided line and npt fittings to replace the banjo bolts in the back of my heads? Just an idea to get rid of those STUIPD banjo bolts?

I don't see why not, as long as the hose it rated for the coolant temp and there's room.
