Uncoated headers

Are there any cheaper alternatives to coating uncoated headers?? A lot of places are selling uncoated headers for quite a bit less, I didnt know if there was anything I could do myself to coat them fairly cheap

You could wrap them with insulating tape sold at most performance shops...Jet-Hot offers 20% off to CZ28.com members on coating...

How long would they last with insulation tape??

And you know about how much JetHot charges to coat?

I personally would not use the tape, it will reduce the life of the headers.
I have Jet Hot coated Hooker LTs and in my opinion they were worth every penny I paid.
Jet Hot does offer 20% discount to Z28.com members which is quite a bit of savings.

Don't even think about putting any kind of header wrap on your headers! Header wrap retains heat so well that they cause headers to become brittle.
