Long tubes give the most gains. I have pacesetters, they werent that bad to install either.

Re: which type of headers are the best?

depends on what you want, i have some pacesetters into a flowmaster american thunder cat back with no cats and it is one of the sickest sounding cars around. but the flowmasters are not the best thing in the world for performance. if i didnt already buy the cat back and i had to do it again i think i would do the pacesetters into a x-pipe with some bullet mufflers.

AS&M, RKsport, and TPIS(these three are the same headers) headers are ok for performance, but are by far the worst header to install and replace plugs on. If I had to do it over again I would have gotten LTs.

I plan to go with Pacesetter LT's with their ORY and GMMG catback. I've heard it and it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. I don't think that sound can be beat.

I have Pacesetter LTs and ORP into a Hooker Catback and I could not be happier. The combo gives great gains and sounds awesome. It has an awesome and mean tone while not being TOO loud. It is moderate at idle / low rpms and roars a WOT.

Re: which type of headers are the best?

I have AS&M, ORY, Borla XR-1... sounds So mean just going through the XR-1.... people tend to lean towards the AS&M, because of their Primary tube dimateres being 1 3/4" instead of 1 5/8",

1 3/4" are the diameter of long tube primaries, ive heard of people running 10.5's with AS&M's.... very good in my opinion, installation wasnt that bad. just liek any other header install

Sweet that is what I plan on getting for my car. I already have the hooker catback and have nothing but good things about the Pacesetter LTs.

Don't know about this...but Summit is the cheapest. Redlineperformanceengineering.com has a good price on them but charges shipping. Summit = free shipping, but higher prices BUT Summit will match any price and then drop a dollar off that. So you get Redline'e prices and free shipping. $502.98 was my total for ceramic coated LTs w/ ORY.
