true duals w/ purple hornies

im getting this setup on my car.... i was just wondering if anyone else has done it or heard or used these mufflers before? price for all the crap out of summit is like ~$125.. so its cheap... ill let ya know how it sounds/performs soon...

A few guys have the Purple Hornies around town...they're LOUD to say the least! They sound pretty good though...

As most of the guys here know I have that setup.
The only problem your going to run into is the tranny crossmember, you will hit it with the drivers side and the mufflers will both be up against the bottom of the car, this will make for some wierd vibrations to say the least.
Other than that they sound like a dump truck and are eerily quiet at idle for such an open exhaust setup.
If you want some more loudness out of them turn the mufflers when you mount them so the turndowns are pointing out to the side a bit, not completely just angle them a bit.
Lots of people are amazed how quiet my car is, its not silent by any stretch but looking at the exhaust setup you would think that you would need earplugs to drive it.
