trans probelm???
 

i have a 95 z28 a4 when i drive "normal" it shifts fine, when i give it WOT it goes to the redline and stays there and won't shift untill i get off of it ,i've taken it to a tranny shop but they told me that the trans is fine and that they think its a engine problem what do u guys think???

Probably an engine problem. The pcm needs to see a specific output shaft speed (oss) before it will shift during wot. If your engine isn't making enough power to propel the car to that speed, the pcm will not command an upshift unless it sees a lower tps that falls in line with a shift speed at the oss the vehicle is at. Most common problems are fuel filter getting plugged or a tps concern. Good Luck.
