Tranny Temperature Gauge Wiring help

Ok, I am trying to wire one of the gauge wires to the ignition so I dont have constant electricity going to the gauges, I only want electricity to go to the gauge when the ignition is turned on.

Does anyone have any experience in this? Can anyone help me?

Please

Just hit up some fuses or something that only has power while the key is on, use a volt meter and go for it

Tap into your stereo line . Much easier to do. Or plug into the fuse block. for lights use the small brown wire behind the light switch.

I have on this page a description of how to cleanly gain constant and switched 12v power.
