I have a 94 z28 A4 with about 90000 on it. i have maybe 320-340 hp closer to 320 but my tranny is going out what is the most cost effective way to replace it or get it fixed.

 

my friend told me that if i put a shift kit on it my car would be fine.

 

you can find a good trany shop to rebuild it. a local shop around here built mine well stock parts anyways. I am very pleased with it. I pull 1.63 60ft times and run 7.500 in the 8th every week. spraying out of the whole and threw the shifts which is supose to be killer on a trans.So just check around your area..
