Too much carbon out of pipes...fix?
Ok. After I bought my car I had to use a buffing compound to get the carbon build up off of the rear bumper (just right above the pipes). It comes back pretty often and soap and water will not clean it. Isn't there a way to reduce the carbon emission? I do the seafoam treatment on a regular basis which does work well. I replaced the opti, plugs, wires, and coil recently. Couldn't it be the EGR? Is there a way to restrict it as well? Let me know something guys, I'm tired if the black stuff. Thanks!

the black stuff is simply because your car runs rich.....all LT1's do from the factory, it's normal. You can either get a tune to have the air/fuel ratio adjusted, or buy new tips that stick out a little further ;)
