How muck grinding has to be done to make a double roller work???

i didn't do anything to mine and i have a cloyes double roller. i didn't see any damage when i took it off, 600 miles later.

We put assembly lube on the sprockets and chain, installed the cover, and it rubbed bad. Took a few times and a lot of grinding to get it perfect..

Thanks, do you know aprox. how deep did you have to gring .030-.040 or more?

I was gonna ask this exact question earlier today but never got around to it. What did you use? A dremel with a grinding bit? I'll be doing this this weekend most likely.

sorry no pic for me, but it looked pretty much like cmr0z28's cover. Takes awhile if your grinder bit the dust and you're stuck using a dremel and cutoff wheels.
