Timing cover

Alright i broke a bolt off putting my timing cover back on!!
My qustion is do i need that bolt its not on the bottom its on the side. i put some sealer on my finger and wiped it down the side to try ro seal it do you think that will be ok?
Yea i know you shouldnt be tighting it that tight

I will tell you this. I have broken bolts off before where there are still plenty others to get the job done. It shouldn't leak, but you never know. Put some copper high temp silicone on it and it should be OK. But don't get mad when it's leaking and you have to take it all off again.
