I'm getting ready to install the timing cover as part of my 95 LT1 rebuild and am wondering how much (or little) clearance is typical between the teeth of the cam sprocket and crankshaft sprocket.

I have less them a millimeter between the cam/crank sprocket teeth with a new GM high performance timing chain set - which appears to have longer teeth then the stock sprockets. Nothing hits when I turn the engine over, but it is close
