Throttle return
Throttle return
I 've been trying to figure out for years what made my 5.0 feel SO fast and fun to drive vs my Formula which is faster, but feels slower.
The other day I was messing around with a stock Mustang throttle body and the spring was very light. When I had my TB off my 'bird I remember it was very tough.
I believe this may be why the Mustang feels so snappy and quick. I remember smoking the tires around corners on accident in my Mustang. This has never been the case with my LT1, it will go really fast, but I have to MAKE it go fast.
I would like to put a much lighter throttle return spring on my TB to get that "quick & snappy" personality out of my LT1.
Any ideas on how to do this?
This probably only makes sense to people that have owned both the 5.0 and an LT1.
