Throttle Position Sensor

I've been trying to check my TPS voltage on my 93 Camaro at idle and full throttle. According to the Hayes book I should have roughly .55 volts at closed throttle and 5.0 volts at open throttle. I only have a .27 at close and a 3.64 at open. Are the numbers in the Hayes book correct? Does it sound like I should have that type of voltage? I have a TPS switch on a throttle body that came off a 94 Corvette. Can I use this one? Or does the mass air flow on the 94 Corvette use a different TPS than my 93 Camaro? Thanks!

Sounds like your #'s are off. Mine sits at 0.64Vdc with the throttle closed and about 4.5Vdc WOT. TPS's are different.
