I have not bought one of those BUT I bought rockers from them and the ratio was different than that marked right on the rocker. I did not get that upset about that BUT when I contacted them about it they did not care. That said a LOT. They are junk dealers, they know it and don't care about it. Know of their rockers taking out at least one LT1 because the SA tabs did not work, the spun allowed the rocker to slip off the valve beat up the rocker and put aluminum chunks in the oil which took a bearing.

I guess we always feel better when someone validates the 'you get what you pay for' saying for us. Thanks.

Funny, I almost chimed in and said that as my response, looks like Dwayne took care of it for me though. Check out the classifieds, for a little more or the same cost, you can get a nice aftermarket TB. I just picked up a brand new 58mm BBK a couple weeks back.

Isn't a ported stocker good for a lot of HP? Shouldn't have to go aftermarket I thought.

There are times when you can get good parts for cheap and a lot of times when the expensive stuff is expensive due to marketting not quality.

I paid $150 for my BBK58mm

I believe the stocker can only be ported up to a 52mm size. This might work good for some peoples applications, but not for others if they require the next size up. Just a bigger throttle body in general isn't going to add insane amounts of power either.

My car is long gone, but with the mods in my sig-going from a 52mm BBK to a 58mm Holly was a waste of money.
