Those with a mail-order tune on a stock car

Just like the topic says, what were your Impressions/Gains/Track/Dyno/. Just ordered a mail-order tune from madz28.com for the 96Z. The car has CAI,coutout,CSI, and LT4 KM. I know he does great work because the 91 has never (just got it done) ran so well. Thanks.

You may gain 10-15hp.

Hey, let me know how that turns out because I have a 96Z. I was thinking of a tune...wasn't sure if I have enough mods for a tune to have any noticeable affects..so that would be cool to see what you come up with. Post back when you get that in..
Thanks

I have a pcm for less tune in my bolt 94Z and was impressed for $100 its definetly worth it, Brian cleaned up my idle adjusted my shift points and removed my speed limiter along with some power tunning and there is a difference and th car smells a bit better (no cat).

I will post when I get it up and running. I think it will make a very noticeable difference. I just knew I did not want to waste my money on a hypercrap. Anyone else?

Big difference. I feel it was worth the money, and if I ever do get a cam in the 96 it is only $40 for an upgrade, no big deal. The car id definetly more responsive and feels stronger. I am going to gateway international raceway on June 8th to test out my new mods (air bag in right rear and the tune). I will post back once I really test the tune June 8th. Later

For some reason I can't access the madz28 site. So how does this all work..you mail him your pcm, send him money and then get it back within a week? Let me know....looks like you got that back real quick..that would be sick to keep my pcm and recieve a pcm already programmed up for $100 or whatever. EDIT: ok, go web site to work (my stupid mozilla browser :( ...sent him email

I also have a 'PCM FOR LESS" tune in my 95Z. I agree it's the best $100 I've spent.. customer service is excellent.... Brian adjusted my shift points, removed my speed limiter, etc....
I am so impressed that I refered 4 other guys in the shop to him and they are also happy customers....

"PCM FOR LESS"
