yep but its all fun, yeah as far as valves, its good to measure the install heigh etc.. & compensate with shims etc... you want that done right, I did it myself

I will wait and se what summit says, dont want to pay for any extra shipping beacuse they give me the wrong information.

when i talked to the guy who ported my heads he asked me how much i plan to rev the engine. when i said max 6500 he smiled and said go with shims instead of locator. No problems.

Did you get rockers? That woudl set you back another $250+ and that would put you aropund the $1k I expected to spend on a cam install.

Sheesh! Some of you guys really do have some money tied up in your cars. By far the single most expensive mod to my car was the longtubes, just shy of $1k. I'm not going to calculate the exact amount of money into my car but it's probably ~$4k... that includes suspension, engine, stereo, etc.
