thinking bout getting a LT1
 

hey new here but just like i said im thinking about getting a LT1 car and doin a 383 kit i was just wandering what kinda numbers people have been putting down with them and about how much it cost for parts and install thanks in advance :D

oh yeah and i do already have a 98 SS lol

You can find a 383 long block for around 5-6 k ready to go...usually they run somewhere in the 11's depending on set up etc....There is so many combinations available(heads/cam) its hard to say what numbers and times you'll be lookin at.

i was thinking about just trying to go with the stock heads and just using a little nitrous with it
