IS teh hyper tech power programer plus worth it info needed?
 
Hey guys is the hyper tech power programer plus for the LT1 worth it.
What does it do, can you check codes, what can of proformance stuf can it do?

For the price you can almost afford a dyno tune which will make the car perform better and do anything the hypertech can. I'd rather go out and buy a decent scan tool just to moniter the engine then pay for the hypertech so I can fix my speedometer...

If you are planning on ever getting a dyno tune, in the near future, then no.

If you want it for power gains, it's not worth it, even for that price. If you need it for speedo correction and maybe fan programming, then it might be worth it.
An email tune from a programmer like Madz28.com will net you more power than the HPP will.

How does an email tune through Madz28 work. Do I need to send my computer? What does he do?

can I just program what I need and then return the Programer or do I need to keep it.

you send Ion your computer. he programs the computer to your specific needs. he sends your computer back to you. you plug your computer back into your car. your good to go. :D
