TCS Wiring / Cutout

I am using a factory TCS switch to control my electric cutout when I get it. My question is, how would I make the TCS light on the dash work with the switch if my car did not come with the TCS system? Could I just run a 12v lead to the gauge cluster itself?

The cluster lamp would need a ground on the correct lead to turn it on (not even sure there would be a buld in it, if it was not originally equipped with ASR/TCS). I don't have a wiring diagram for a 1997, but you might find what you need here.

I don't want to highjack your post but I have been thinking about something, could you wire the cutout up to a WOT switch that you would use for nitrous? So it wouldn't open till you get all the way in it? Would there be any benifit to it?
