Arrow T56 Weight?

Does anyone know roughly how much a 95 style T56 with or without bellhousing weigh?

Thanks.

I believe that, all said and done, the 4L60E is ~240lbs. with fluid and the T-56 is approximately ~170lbs. I have no evidence to back these numbers up, but I am pretty certain that the weight difference is 70lbs.

The T56 weighs closer to 125lbs. There is no way the 4L60E weighs 240, it's roughly 125 as well.

148 lbs. I can tell you that with confidence, because that's what mine weighed in at when I bought one and had it shipped freight to me...the digital scale read "148." Thank god, cause if it had been 2 lbs heavier, the shipping rates would have gone up!!!!

I can tell you this:

They are light enough to bench press out of my car and lower to my chest, but heavy enough to almost tear my nipples off as I tried to slide it off the side of my chest and to the floor

I did weigh mine, but I forget what it weighed in at. They're huge compared to a T-5 though.

SOme goofiness for ya....

I've had both a T56 and 4L60E shipped to me. The T56 paperwork said 150 lbs with the crate. I can't find the 4L60E stuff but I believe it was 225 lbs (crate also).

You're right. Brent and I had ours weighed WITH the wooden crate, and the crate was probably roughly 25 lbs, which would make the tranny 125...
