t-tops

i have this really bad rattle comen from my passenger side t-top and i cant even get my key into the lock to lock it, i know that there is two screws going into each side of it, and when you take those out the plastic still wont come out, does anyone know how to take these things apart?????

yup, i just opened my t-top like 2 days ago to swap my keylocks... after you take the two screws off the sides, remove the handle, its held in with a C type clip around the base off the handle. pop that off with a needle nose pliars and the plastic piece should come off fairly easily after that. jiggle it if you haveta =) but it should come right off

I need to take my T-Tops apart too because my lock fell out. Anyone know how the lock goes back in?

lock? sure thing, after you do as mentioned above to open the t-top, the lock is held in with another C-shaped type clip. the locking mechanism fits in hole and the C clip locks it in place. its easy.
