T/A headlights, drivers side makes noise for about 5 seconds after it goes back down

Dunno what it is. Motor still goes for like 5 seconds or so after headlights retract. Any ideas?

Mine did the same thing awhile back. I got these and haven't had a problem since:

Or you could take the gearpod apart and turn it around so it using the other half of the gears.

The gear in the headlight motor is stripped. buy a metal gear for it

If you don't want to pay for that right now, you can always turn the gear around. You see, when you turn your lights on, you only use 1/2 of the gear. Then when you put them back down, it uses that same1/2 of the gear in the opposite direction. The other side of that gear is never used in the life of that motor...unless, you turn it around so it can use the unstripped side of the gear. This will last another few years, but eventually it will strip it out. GM put cheap plastic gears in there...who knows why.
