Help with cam kit?
would this be a good kit to buy for the price?
I drive mostly on the street and not the track.

How much is he asking? Are all the components new? I bought my cam kit back in 2003 from combination motorsports in a group buy for 570$ it came with cam, 1.6 rockers (NSA) valvespings, locks and retainers, pushrods, guideplates, I believe the lifters were not included so that was an extra 200$ or so for a set of comp R's... This gives you an idea of a ballpark price.
I actually bought the same cam you're thinking of buying.. It's not bad for a stockish setup makes around 340hp to the wheels in my car and it sounds amazing with LT's and a cat-less exhaust... Not bad street manners either. If you want more power you can probably get something bigger although the best thing would probably be a custom cam & head. But if you're on a budget like I was at the time and you just want something fast and cheap then a kit like the one you showed seems ok. Just make sure the components are good quality.
