Anything is possible... dont know why anyone would go through the trouble. While the SR is a good intake, it is in my opinion, inferior to the lt1 intake. While it does have a large plenum volume, it is still a long tube runner and will drastically limit RPM and flow capability. Not to mention the quality of the intake is something to be argued, and installation/removal is rediculous.

As far as fitment, I would think it might fit, but it would be VERY tight. Hell, in most 3rd gens, it hits the wiper motor, and we have ALOT more room under there than you guys.

Lingenfelter was a big fan of those intakes on an LT1, especially automatics. This is info out of his book. He said he got a lot more torque over 4000 rpm and 65 horsepower more form the super ram at 5800 rpm. He did have to shorten it 5/8" or so to fit in the f-body which costed 10 hp.

Here some Good reading
http://compcams.com/Community/Articl...p?ID=-61543841

I could take this intake on a 350-355 Lt1 and make more TQ and Hp throughout the RPM range than a 383 or 396 WITH the same heads and cam using a Ltx style intake.

I was very close to buying this intake but went single plain instead to see 7000 RPM. I sold the single plain for a Procharger setup now I am back to the LT4 intake and Monoblade. If I could do a N/A motor without crazy high RPM (anything below 6500RPM) I would use this Superram intake manifold.

You through a Nice size cam in a 383 with some good heads and this intake you could see 6500 Rpm With Gobs of midrange power.
Something to think about
