jegs has these for 95 thru 97 dual cat cars.very interested but not listed on hooker website,or jethot and have never seen them mentioned in here. what gives? anyone....

 

Don't waste your money on small primary headers. The Hooker shorties are crappy, along with any other 1 5/8" primary headers. They'll only gain you about 10-12 rwhp over stock. Go with 1 3/4" mids or LTs and you'll see a nice gain.

 

I ordered the coated Hooker shorties from Summit and they came uncoated so I sent them back and ordered the SLP 1 3/4" coated set and am very happy with them. They are definetly worth the extra $.

 

i want to stay emissions legal, torn between edelbrocks or slps. thought about using the stock manifolds at one time. going to do cc502 , shorties, and catback not going for every drop of hp, just liven up the car for street use.
