stuttering idle

while the car is at idle the car seems to studder some. the rpm variance is probably onle 100 or 200 rpm but it still seems as though the car is struggling to maintain idle. any ideas what might be the problem?

First thing that comes to mind is a vacuum leak. Can you check the IAC counts? They should be around 40. You may want to remove and clean the IAC anyway. Try squirting WD on the vac lines and see if it smooths out.

Also check your EGR, that pesky little guy was the cause of my problems. It wasnt closing all the way and caused my car to run like ****. Dont know if thats your problem though. Just take your egr off and try blowing in the bottom neck part. If air comes out the top easily then its not sealing and you might want to replace it.
