Ditch it while drag racing? Im removing my front swaybar also.

 

Yeah i would ditch it....i took the front swaybar out of my car and i don't even notice it. I take my strut tower brace out while i'm racing.

 

what are the advantages except weight loss? thanks

 

Nothing that I can think of.

It's a shock tower brace, not strut. 4th gens don't have struts.

 

We may not have struts, but don't tell Thunder Racing that. They sell strut tower braces for fourth gens

It's kinda hard to sell a strut tower brace for a car with no struts, isn't it? That kind of thing is exacty what helps to perpetrate the confusion.

 

Well I almost bought it from them a few days ago...instead I bought a Shock Tower Brace on ebay for half price....I just put it on a few mins ago and will get to test it out either tomorrow or friday. Good thing I didn't spend hours and hours under the hood searching for a strut I guess
