I'm In The Process Of Changing Out My Opti. I Stripped Out The Threads While Removing The Balancer. I Did'nt Know It Was A 2 Piece. Should I Use A Healie Coil Or Tape It Next Bigger Size?

I take it you mean your balancer hub? Just buy a different one. You can get a used one for pretty cheap. Post up in the Parts Wanted section. I saw one going for $35. Not sure how much a new one would cost.

actually I stripped out the middle bolt that threads into the crank. I was trying to remove it like an old chevy balancer not knowing it was a two piece. So I thinking I should tap it or healie coil it ?

If you go to the next bigger size, you will have to drill out the hub, too. A heli-coil may or may not work, due to the vibrations of the crank. I guess you can always try these things before possibly having to replace the crank.

I guess I'll try tapping to the next bigger size. Can anyone tell me how to remove the hub with the center bolt stripped out. The dumb Chilton book does'nt show me how it's done (I would'nt have stripped out the thread) . I think it would be easier to tap it with the hub off?

A bolt with a smaller diameter than the hole that is long enough to put a harmonic damper puller on will work fine. Remember that eventually the hub will bottom out on the bolt.

If you also stripped the 3 holes on the outer part of the hub, use longer bolts and put nuts on the back side when using the puller.

Your not going to be able to drill and tap it larger. Ask a machine shop how to handle it.

do you know how far in you stripped it? You can try using a thread chaser first to see if that'll work.

When I first pulled off my hub I did the same thing, only I realized what I was doing before I caused any real damage. I messed up the first 3 or 4 threads so I just used a tap and they cleaned up. Do you know how many threads you damaged?

just retap it, thats what i did it worked fine.

I think I only messed up the first 4 rows of threads. I guess I'll try a tap the same size , hopefully save the rest of the threads. Thanks guys;)
