stock wheel direction
stock wheel direction
This is very odd.
My stock wheels on my 95 Z28 are not all the same...or are they?
To clarify, the spokes are tilted (or point) to the front of the car on the left side but the oposite on the right side of the car.
Makes sense if all the wheels are exactly the same.
But, someone has told me that all the wheels should have the spokes pointing (leaning) towards the front so air is forced onto the brakes.
This would mean that they are uni-directional and that the right side wheels would need to be different than the left side wheels.
Some of you are probably laughing right now, but it is a question that no one seems to be able to answer for me.

They're the same. However, when you move them to the other side of the car they're 180-dregrees out-of-phase from the wheels on the other side and therefore the directional pattern is inverted.
I had to explain this to the Goodyear shop when one of their rookie techs rotated my Eagle GSCs by just moving the tires to the other side of the car.

They're all like that, because the wheels are really the same, hence, on opposite sides they point in opp. directions.
