Stock heads flow.........

I heard 200cfm. Is this true? I was also told that I can only get another 30cfm out of them.

210-212 peak on the intake side, figure that with a 2.00" valve most get 250's peak, some 260's, and very few are honestly in the 270's. Really, don't worry about peak so much as area under the curve.. since that's what actually matters .

Of course, they all flow "275 or more."

Most sources agree that it's about 215 cfm @ .550 valve lift @ 28". But you can get alot more than 30 cfm...most porters can get at least 40 to 50 with some getting more.

Well, silly thing is that I went to a reputable motor shop in my area, and I told him I was between N/A and S/C. He told me in no uncertain terms that I would lose a lot of "normal" drivability w/ H/C. He said to supercharge it! I was like "whoa"! He's the person that gave me those #'s on the flow. I guess I'm still gonna S/C it. I told him that when it blows, I'll let him set it up.
