Stock Gear Ratio
either 2:73 or 3:23. Look at the codes inside your glove box or on your door. If you see a GU2 you have 2:73s if you see a GU4 you have 3:23s. Also another way to tell. I am not sure if this is totally accurate though. Cars with first gear on the shifter have 3:23s. Cars that stop at 2nd gear have 2:73s. I can't say this is entirely true. But, my car has 2:73s and no 1st gear and my friends has 3:23 and 1st gear.
the higher the number... the LOWER the gear, and it will accelerate faster in all ends.. bottom and top end, its just youre top speed will be reduced, but chances are your car has no where near the power to max out your gearing, nor would you want to!!..
