Stock 0-60mph numbers for our cars?

I was trying to find this info on the Car&Driver and MotorTrend archives with no luck.
So, anyone know what the 0-60 and 1/4 data were reported for our cars? Specifically the 96-97 models?
Like everyone else, my car's no stock, but it gives a good baseline comparison when looking at the new POS's offered.

Well, I don't know....I've seen numbers ranging from 5.6 to 6.2
Mine does it in 5.2 secs NA and 4.7 with a 100-shot. (measured with G-Tech)

I would say a stock LT1 is around 5.5-5.7 with a good driver. Now that is also on street tires. Add a few bolt ons and some drag radials and you can get in the high 4's.

Depends on the car, firehawks claim to do 4.9 in their brocure so that means an SS should do it in about the same time. A Z28 will obviously do it a little bit less.

i didnt know they had 95 firehawks...

ls1 is rated at 5.6 or 5.4 so i figure a stock lt1 to be somewhere between 5.8-6.0

and i know C5s are 4.9

LT1s have better low end torque. They should be able to produce better 0-60mph runs.

Whoeversaid LT1's should have higher 0-60 mph times is wrong !!! The LT1 has better off the line performance due to its better torque curve over the LS1. (top end is another story). 0-60 stock for an LT1 is 5.4 I have used g-tech and now have an apexi RSM meter in my car and the best times i could get were 4.90 Now that i have my suspension dialed in and run 18 psi in my drag radials i have hit a best of 4.55 . LT1's own on the line !!

I believe in the dealer specs it was like 5.5-5.8 or something like that.

Nope, I have the brochure that came with my car, advertises 0-60 in 4.9 and 1/4 in 13.5

I think the magazine's should post their 60' times with the 1/4 mi times, because I think a lot of the higher times are due to bad 60'.
