Still have cam problems!

All this time I thought I had tuning issues or a bad opti. Well, I just had a compression test done and I have 0 compression on cylinder #1! This really sucks.

That's not good!

Were you there when it was tested? Make sure you see it the gauge with your own eyes. Has the engine been making any unusual noises? Zero psi means something is seriously wrong...

Damn, sorry to hear that man. Of all the place that u DON'T want a problem

My problem turned out to be my trans was slipping at high RPMs. The car feels sickly fast with the 3200 stall and race-built 4L60e. I have to go to the track still to verify this.

What u gonna do now man? Stroker motor!?

Actually it may not be that bad. It could be that the rockers were over adjusted and its keeping the valve open and thats whats causing 0 compression to show up. Hell, I could have a burnt or bent vavle which means pulling the heads off. All I know is this really sux! Im taking it to my tech. on Friday and he is gonna fix whatever it is. I had the compression test done at the dealership and thats how I found out #1 was bad! I just hope it gets no worse.

A stroker motor would be very nice.

I really wish I had the money to get the heads ported & polished in case they do have to come off due to a bent or burnt valve!
