Starter question
I'm sure I can find this but I hope someone will be kind and tell me the answer.
I'm getting my engine back into my 95 and have a starter wiring question. In the harness for the starter is the ground, B+ (12v), a purple wire and a small gauge black wire. I'm pretty sure the purple wire is for the starter solenoid. Where does the black wire go? It has an eyelet on it like it goes under some screw but it isn't very long and I can't see or remember where it came off. Sure appreciate the answer to this question. After many hours I'm ready to try and start the engine. For history: I pulled the engine/trans. I had the transmission rebuilt, fixed the intake manifold leak, put on headers, new plugs, wires, removed the air pump, and the EGR and did other small fixes and cleaning. |
The small black wire does not go on the starter. It goes here.

Thank you very much.
