Please help advise..
1996 Z-28
my car will start and Idle until the gas is pressed and then it will die, it will restart and then die again. It recently died in traffic going up a hill.
I frantically tried to restart it and after about 3 false starts and 3 no start cranks it finally took and I was able to drive it home.
I cannot find any obvious vaccum leaks\cracks, the fuel filter is 3 mos old after the dying in traffic I replaced the ICM.
Yesterday I replaced the fuel pump thinking that the beginning of the manifesting of these symptoms was the aging 100k pump, it was occasionally bogging down under acceleration and the pump was making a terrible racket.
the only other thing I noticed was that one of the AIR check valves is making considerable racket compared to the other.
would failing cats do this?
Battery voltage is 13.2v car off 14.2 running
I have a new fuel pump, MAP, opti, battery, alt, o2's, engine grounds.ect, ICM, plugs yada, yada
Can anyone help shed any light on where I should be looking??

I just had the car scanned for the first time today..
the only persistent one was p1351 cyl 1&4 circuit high voltage.
I had a:
p1351 cyl 1&4 circuit high voltage
p0100 MAF insufficient action
p0412 Air Injection
p1371 Direct Ignition Low res circuit
p1661 Check eng control circuit
(I think these are the right definitions of the codes but not positive)
and now I know why no check engine light
the four above cleared and did not return, I assume they may have been stored.
does this clear it up any to any of you? it didn't help me much.
