hey guys ive tried searching but came up with lots of mixed answers. i have a 94 Z28 A4 with the 3.23's...is there any type of speed governor on my vehicle? thanks for your help.

 

As far as I know its right about 158-160. Thats going by my 98 T/A I used to have. I have a 97 T/A now and had it to 150 already. I coulda went faster I'm sure, but I flew past a cop and had to take the next exit quick fast and in a hurry.

 

If you have a 110 MPH Speedo, it will be at 118. If not, then it will be at 255 MPH. (pretty much no governer)

 

I have a 150 speedo and a 118 governor...

I have an a4 with 2.73's.

 

Well, I was talking about 93-95 cars. Not sure about the speedos on 96 and 97s (perhaps yours was swapped?) but the limiters are at 118 and 160 for z-rated tires.

BTW, if you need to get rid of the limiter, I can give you a good deal on it.

 

i have a 94 z28 and ive had it to 145 so 160 is probably where its gonna be at

 

Yours is at 255 MPH.
