I have a cam that I suspect to be a LT4 Hotcam. It is obviously a pre vented opti cam as it has a very short dowel pin (.300") and the hole in the center is too shallow to accept the vented opti.

My question is were there 2 different versions of the hotcam or did I get ripped?

Isn't there a part # stamped on the cam?

 

There is not a part number anywhere on the cam. The only thing that is on the cam are I am assuming a build number and lot number. I printed out a GM cam spec sheet so maybe one of the numbers on the list will reference with the cam I have.

 

The LT4 hotcam should work with any LT1 93-97. The only thing different, should be the dowel pin.
