spark plugs
NGK TR-55s will work fine then, as would another set of Delco platninum replacements. The NGKs are a good plug set, the only downside is that they will require quicker change intervals as they are a copper conducter. On the plus side, they are very cheap, running about 2 bucks a plug. Also, you may want to create a "signature" for your car giving the basic info. and mods.
Last time I was at Autozone, they did carry Delco plugs. As for Murrays, I buy Delco batteries from them all the time so I would guess they would carry the plugs as well, I don't know for sure though. I can't remember off-hand the price of the platinum plugs, but for my Grand Prix, plat. Delco plugs set me back about 7 bucks a piece.
ok, so i've ran into a problem. murray's dosen't stock delco platinum's and autozone is out of stock. they do however have bosch platinum2 and platinum+4's on hand. are these plugs any good, or am i just wasting my money?
I believe the LT1s came with Delco Plats. Supposed to be good for 100 K, however, turns out that many have discovered missing pucks with less than 50K. Recommend NGKs, either copper, plats or irradiums. Copper conducts very well--doesn't last as long as plats and irradiums. Pick your poison.
