Spare 3/8 NPT Fitting

I was wondering if there are any spare 3/8 npt fittings on the lt1 motor. Looking to put a aftermarket fan controller on.

you know the heads are the same each side just have the plugs and such in oposite ends. This means there is a hole in the other head same as the existing dash temp sender fits in.

That said I would probably just reprogram the computer for the fan temps you want and put in a manual switch if you want as well. I don't really see a reason to use an aftermarket temp switch.

you can also use an aftermarket switch made by slp or caspers that plugs into the factor wiring and alows you to overide the computer and turn the fans on low or high or leave it up to the computer. i have one on mine and love it.

Ya spent hours and hours a few nights ago. Im going to check the passenger side out. look for the coolant plug on the rear. Are there any coolant temp plugs in the block like where the KS is.

Were you able to use scanning software to see if perhaps the water temp sensor is faulty?

Its a simple system....relays, fans, sensor, fuse......

It should not be hard to figure out.

I would not rig it up......just fix it
