Slp used shortys a good header? there non coated and was used on a nitrous vehicle? worth 200$?

 

Yes... they are stainless steal, never rust, dont really warp cuz they are stainless steal, and the biggest shorties u can buy.

I'll have mine for sale soon too... they wont be for less than 200 though

good for performance 1 3/4 shorty's most shorty's are 1 5/8

but they are kinda hard to install and have bad plug access compared to other lt1 headers......imo

 

o yea i paid $330 shipped used, w/ ypipe and with a random tech cat. welded on.
mine had like 5k miles on headers and 1k on cat (he said)

You need to jump on that. SLP headers are a nice kick in the *** performance wise..... Especially with an off road pipe I bought mine used as well, but I paid $335. Install is bad on most headers, but I didn't have to jack up the motor.

That's a very good deal. They are 1 3/4" headers if you didn't know. I'm running them. Look at the pic on the left.

I've got the stainless SLPs on my 96, and the only part that hasn't rusted is the Flange. Pisses me off too. Apparently the tubing is a different grade of stainless.

 

I like mine too.I just need the offroad y pipe.Anyonr know of one?
