SLP Products

Now, please be perfectly honest with me, I need some honest opinions about SLP products and your happiness/anger with them. The reason I'm wanting this is because I bought a 95 Z with SLP exhaust and I like the sound and performance. I'm in the middle of chopping and cutting things, so I need to know if it's worth keeping...............or making a chair out of.

What SLP exhaust is it? I've the the SLP 2OTL exhaust and I have no complaints, in my opinion SLP makes excellent catbacks. You could probably pick up a few $$ if you sell it on the board.

Dunno, haven't looked at it carefully enough. Just wondering if their products are good enough and well-known enough to maybe continue using some of their other ones.

My only SLP mod is my CAI. It looks good, performs good and I'm overall very happy with it. Top notch quality.

Well, by the sounds of it the "yes's" have it. I won't go cutting it up though, as I priced it out. $699+tax. As i said before, I like the sound of it, but I was wondering about their credibility and relationship with customers. I should get some frame connectors though, as I think some NX is in order shortly.

$699+tax here in Canada. Crayzee country. You almost gotta be a doctor or a lawyer to afford parts for these things. I'm sure glad the bank has lots of money, 'cause I'm gonna need some of it!!

Yeah although SLP products are high quality, I would not order through them directly ever again. I ordered my CAI over a month before a set track date that about 10 of my friends and I planned out and got it the day after. My advice is order through another SLP parts supplier like T-Byrne. Or order on the phone. I hear that ordering through SLP on the phone gets prompt service but I still wouldnt order from them directly. I called about 3 times to see what was up with my CAI. Just a heads up. Not bashing SLP but if you definitely want a trouble free quick transaction, go through another site sponsor.

Actually, I did order it through TByrne. They tell me their contact at SLP said that the flywheels should be shipped in early September.
