Slp Cai

Anyone have a picture of the SLP Cold Air Intake mounted?

I want to know if the filters are positioned as low as the K&N version?

I dont have a picture...but the SLP uses 2 small K&N type resuable filters. They do not hang as low as the other CAI's with larger filters.

You probably wouldn't see much of a gain to justify the extra price. Unless your really hellbent on getting those 1-2 extra horses...

The filters may not technically be K&N's, but they are basically the same thing. They are made out of cotton gauze sandwiched between black mesh. They have excellent flow...they only drawback may be their small size, but i dont think it makes much of a difference. I use the K&N filter cleaner and Oil on them as well.
