Simple Fuel Injector Question
Simple Fuel Injector Question
Who KNOWS the Part Number for 30#/hr. SVO fuel injectors??? Also, are they a direct "bolt in" for our stock LT1 injectors, or are there some modifications which must be done to use them???
TIA for all replys!

IDOXLR8, thanks for the prompt reply.
At least one piece of the puzzle is now in place. So these injectors will fit the stock LT1 fuel rail, how about the electrical connection to the injector? Is the electrical connector "plug and play", or does it require some type of modification? Also, somebody out there KNOWS the P/N for these injectors, right?
And yes, I know I'll have to re-program the PCM when I install these, but thanks for reminding me.

I have Ford Motorsports 30lb injectors. They are made by Bosch, and sold by Ford. From Summit, they cost $219 or so. The ones I have are orange in color. The SVOs a friend has on his car are red in color. From what I understand, they are actually closer to 32-33 lb injectors on the LT1 because the LT1s stock fuel pressure is 43 psi, and Ford rates the injectors at 38 psi. They are completely plug and play. In fact, without looking closely at the color, you'd never know the difference.
You do have to reprogram the computer to accept the 30 lb injectors. Otherwise, you will run very rich.
