should I get a high-performance tranny rebuild or cam and accesories?

Ok I have a 93 Z with the mods in my signature. Should I take care of my 700R4 first and not have to worry about it again? Or should I just go with a cam, springs, RR's, and timing chain?? I was looking at a CC306 or XE 224/230....
How long do you think my transmission will hold up with the added power of a cam? I will only have the cash to do one or the other unfortunately. What do you guys think?

It was rebuilt at the dealer mabye approx. 3000 miles ago (at 65,201 miles on the clock). Then at 67,535 it went in because it wasn't downshifing and it was shifting too early. They replaced the valve body and tv cable and adjusted it, but it didn't do anything. Then they replaced the govenor (not sure what that is or does) and it worked. Now it seems to be doing the same thing. So I was thinking of maybe beefing it up a little bit so I don't have any problems with it. Unless there's something I can do with that govenor to save from paying the deductible at the dealer
As much as a new cam and **** would be cool, you need a properly working tranny to make any use of that extra HP the cam would provide. So build the tranny cos if the tranny breaks on the highway or something that cam isnt going to get you home.

hmmm.... I would be tempted to put in the cam, springs, etc since you just had the tranny rebuilt. But, since they just rebuilt it back to stock specs and it can only handle 400hp, so you could be asking for trouble. If it were me i would wait till i had enough money to cover the tranny just in case, but thats just me.
