well i think im gonna go w/ ur guys advice with the "Eibach Pro-Kit Springs"
but what shocks should i go with im still using the same shocks and springs that came w/ the car so those Eibach will probably raise me a few inches (hopefully im tired of scrapping parts on speed bumps at 1/4mph and hitting my passenger door on curbs)
so i would like ur recomendations for shocks for me, i probably wont see the track just driving to work and back every day, probably 50% freeway 50% bumpy streets

Unless a previous owner cut your springs or you shocks are totally shot you shouldnt be sitting that low. My Z is 10 yrs old and doesnt sit any lower than other Z's. Most aftermarket springs lower your car anywhere from 1-2.5 inches from stock height. I cant tell you what it will do on your car since I cant see it.

Hi There,
I have the Eibach pro-kit and the Bilsteins and my lowest point is at the exhaust flange connecting to the header collector is 2 5/8 from the ground. I can make it over speed bumps though just real slow.

Eibachs will lower your car no matter what shocks you use. However, you do NOT want to reuse the stock shocks. They are really not good even for the stock setup and will be even worse with aftermarket springs. Go with some Bilstein HDs, or if you are really into handling Koni SA front and Bilstein HD rear combination. Contact Sam at stranoparts.com for a good deal and great support.
well i looked under there while i was doing my oil this morning, (front)
it seems the first 5 coils of the 10 in the spring are all touching? this doesnt seem right to me...
ive also heard that low profile tires will give additional wear and tare on the suspension and i used to have 17" rims on my ride.
i reached my finger in there collected the dust off and the shock was orange so it is probably the original.
and is it natural that the spring is only half way up the shock? i would think the shock and spring would both be connected to the axel or something, but instead just the shock

maybe you already have lowering springs
what color are the springs? if they are black, check to see if "eibach" is on them in white. if they do, its the pro kit. if they are red with eibach on them, sportlines
