well i got her all done, with the new opti she runs awsome. but there are a few things taht i would like you awsome guys here on cz28 to help me with and explain some.

1.it takes a few seconds to start up one. about 10 when cold but she fired right away on hot

2.backfires some when its cold and i rev it as soon as i turn it on.

3.noisy valvetrain. (SA ROCKERS)

4.when i plug my MAF up the car bogs out.

5.car doesnt have any low end torque, and seems i have to push the gas a little more to get it to move (2800 stall, i dont know if this is normal or not with a high stall.)

i am currently running with no tune which i will be getting shortly, open Y pipe, no O2s and no plug in the holes. and obviously no MAF conn. or oil pressure sensor connected. any insight on this would be appreciated. thanx guys. but all in all i am happy pulls like a raped ape at about 3000 and through out, i need to change shift points though i beleive and spin to around 5500-5900 thanx again guys. been greeat working on this thing.

 

You have got to get the rest of the car and engine put together before you can diagnose anything.......With the mods in your sig, no tune and no O2's, I imagine it would run like junk.

 

Amen. Waste of time to try to diagnose at this point.

 

so should i tune it? should i take the O2s out all together? what about the noisy valve train?

 

Hook up the y pipe, I know ya have one. lol. Get the O2's in and a tune and it should make a world of difference. Just get everything hooked up, and the proper tuning and then try to diagnose it.

 

Y ia hooked up, getting ready to bolt the exhaust to it, i will put the O2s in and finish this damn cable.
